Let The Magic Begin! Scarborough’s Hollow Fall Fantasy Festival Is Now Open

The time has arrived! The ALL-NEW Scarborough’s Hollow Fall Fantasy Festival has opened for its inaugural season! Visitors will enjoy live entertainment, an artisan village, seasonal attractions, interactive activities for all ages, and a touch of spooky delight. Scarborough’s Hollow will take place at the Scarborough Renaissance Festival site in Waxahachie on Saturdays between October 11 – November 15. It will also be open on October 31, Halloween night!

Scarborough’s Hollow offers interactive fun for all ages including the Fairy Sisters’ Meet & Greet, Daily Character Parade, Hollow Pumpkin Patch, and The Tricksters Trail of Leaping Lights. Kids’ Activities include games for all, The Coloring Wall, Harvest Blessings, Hollow’s Hideaway Maze, the Kids’ Coloring Corner, and Pumpkin Painting.Visitors are also invited to immerse themselves into the fantasy of Scarborough’s Hollow by donning their favorite Fall, fantasy, or period costumes. Family friendly costumes are welcome but they ask that you refrain from wearing gory or frightening costumes.

The five stages and the lanes of Scarborough’s Hollow will showcase acts like Brandi Paige, Cirque du Sewer, The Duelist, Josh the Ventriloquist, Queen Annes’ Lace, The Singing Serpents, Smee the Singing Executioner, Thunder Thorsson, the Village cast from the Scarborough Academy of Performing Arts, and the three magical fairy sisters of Scarborough’s Hollow.

As is customary at the Scarborough events, the site will host various contests, vendors, and opportunities to pique your taste buds. More than 35 shoppes will be open in the artisan village, selling a variety of fantasy and time-period items. Visitors can also partake in beer tasting events, grab one of their famous turkey legs, or try some other seasonal treats.

Admission tickets at the gate are $30 for Adults and $18 for Kids 5-12. Kids 4 & under are always free. Parking is $12 per car and there are also activities that can be added for an additional fee.
