Scarborough’s Hollow Fall Fantasy Festival Debuts This October

A brand-new fall tradition is coming to North Texas. Grab your friends, round up the kids, and get ready to dress for the season — Scarborough’s Hollow Fall Fantasy Festival is drawing near! The new Hollow Fall Fantasy Festival, created by the producers of Scarborough Renaissance Festival, will debut on October 11, 2025.

This immersive festival will transform the Crown Meadow area of the Scarborough Renaissance site into a world of magic, mischief, and autumn wonder. Visitors can enjoy live entertainment, artisan shoppes, interactive activities for all ages, seasonal attractions, and a touch of spooky delight every Saturday from October 11 – November 15 (2:00 pm – 10:00 pm), plus a special Halloween Night celebration on October 31 (5:00 pm – Midnight).

Five stages and the lanes of Scarborough’s Hollow will be filled with live entertainment including some familiar Scarborough acts such as Cirque du Sewer and the Village cast from the Scarborough Academy of Performing Arts. Visitors will also be thrilled by some great new performers that are sure to become favorites: local musicians, sword fighting comedy, an interactive D&D style show, a Ventriloquist, and more. Additionally, there will be a bit of seasonal magic to experience with the Trickster’s Trail of Leaping Lights, Masquerade of Mischief Fun House, the Hollow’s Hayride, and Morwyn’s Manor Haunted House!

Don’t miss the kids’ activity area, Pumpkin Patch, The Royal Menagerie Petting Zoo, face painting, games of skill, daily contests and themed events too. Some activities and attractions will require an additional fee. Visitors are encouraged to immerse themselves into the fantasy of Scarborough’s Hollow by donning their favorite (family-friendly) Fall, fantasy, or period costumes and joining in the fun.

Foods and tempting seasonal treats abound! Visitors can take a break to savor delicious food throughout Scarborough’s Hollow such as giant roasted turkey legs, street tacos, chicken-on-a-stick, sausage-on-a-stick, mac n’ cheese, and brisket baked potatoes. Tasty treats will include cobbler, Lemon Chill, and Dip n’ Dots, along with sweet & savory treats from the 13th Hour bakery.

For visitors 21 and over, there will be 7 pubs offering a great selection of craft beers, wine, Breaking Brew Mead, Nidhogger Mead, weekly specials, and seasonal favorites. If beer is your autumn indulgence, you can join Scarborough’s own Certified Cicerone for one of their daily Beer Tasting events, taking you through an educational journey of tasting fall beers and providing a complementary beer glass to keep. The cost is $35 per person in advance or $40 at the event. Seating is limited so book your tasting event today, before they sell out!
