The 38 Best Dallas Restaurants, Fall 2025

The Dallas-Fort Worth area is a booming metroplex of 9,286 square miles, and, within that sprawl, there are many standout restaurants. This list aims to guide visitors and locals alike to great new destinations, up-and-coming restaurants, and established institutions at the top of the food game, all at various price points and featuring the numerous cuisines that define the DFW.

Eater Dallas’s list of the 38 Essential Restaurants in North Texas is updated quarterly. This update sees the
Chilangos Tacos come off the map, along with Burger Schmurger, and Fond. Newly added are Rudy’s Chicken, Gemma, and El Come Taco.

In this latest refresh, we’ve also revamped our write-ups to feature even more relevant information for diners, including price ranges for each destination — from $ indicating quick, inexpensive meals with dishes largely under $10, to $$$$ for places where entrees exceed $30.
