Territory & Income

Franchise territories are defined by the area you select and where you distribute News Span Media®. You may accept advertising from anywhere. The distribution area may include a city, town, county, or combination thereof.

We recommend up to a 50,000 population for your first franchise and up to a 40,000 population for each additional franchise. The typical News Span Media® Publisher owns an average of three to five franchises. They publish 3-5 editions of News Span Media® each week.

The amount of income you build will be based on the number of editions you publish, your ad rate, the amount of time you dedicate to your business, and your ability to effectively connect with small businesses in the local community.

Ownership costs.

We are a franchise with a bigger peace of the pie given to the franchise owner and less to corporate.

We care more about your growth than our own.

Royalty fees: These are recurring payments for ongoing support and the right to use our brand, based on your percentage of gross sales.
Our fees are 10% of monthly gross revenue. 90% is yours to keep.
A franchise must produce a minimum of $50,000 in advertsing revenue to qualify for ownership and reach at minimum of 50000 viewers monthly.
